In February 2023, the Iranian Justice Collective (IJC) launched a comprehensive global advocacy campaign, corresponding with over 350 senators and parliamentarians worldwide in three languages (English, French, German). Our letters highlighted the plight of Iranian prisoners of conscience and dissidents, urging international support and attention to their cause.

 

Furthermore, our advocacy extended to Canada, where we organized two significant events on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. In September 2023 and May 2024, we conducted almost 100 meetings with Canadian officials, including senators and parliamentarians, to discuss Iranian human rights and democracy issues. These engagements were pivotal in keeping the concerns of Iranian prisoners and dissidents at the forefront of Canadian lawmakers' agendas, fostering continued support and awareness within the Canadian political sphere.
