Ali Bahrampour, an author, a translator, and an instructor from Tehran, was arrested on November 3rd, 2022 during the nationwide protests. He was released on bail after 78 days. According to Harana, he was sentenced to a total of 8 years and 4 months in prison, 2 years of ban on leaving the country and confiscation of his mobile phone and SIM card for the benefit of the government by the Qazvin City Revolutionary and Criminal Court.
