Sentenced to death along with Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini (both executed 7 January 2023), Hamid Ghareh-Hassanlu and Hossein Mohammadi in relation to death of IRGC Ruhollah Ajamian at the scene of Hadi Najafi's 40th day memorial on the Karaj-Qazvin motorway next to the cemetary on 3 Nov. Hossein was sentenced to death by Branch One of the Alborz province Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Asef Alhosseini. Supreme Court referred the case back to the court which issued the original sentenced based on Article 469(b)(2) of the code of Criminal Procedures.
