Keyvan Mohtadi, a writer and member of the Iranian Writers Union, translator, teacher and worker supporter, was arrested on May 9, 1401, along with his wife Anisha Asadollahi, by the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Organization at their home. On Monday, January 9th, 1401, Keyvan's verdict was communicated to his lawyer Mr. Amir Raisian. According to the verdict, Keyvan was sentenced to 5 years in prison on the charge of "Assembly and Collusion" and 1 year in prison on the charge of "propaganda against the regime" and in total he was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
