On September 27th, 2022, Ali Akbar Khoshkenar, a Balouch citizen, was arrested by military forces and is still being held in Zahedan prison after nearly 6 months. He has been accused of leading protests and creating roadblocks and is at risk of issuing heavy sentences. The campaign of Balouch activists informed Iran International that IRGC intelligence forces threatened the old mother of Ali Akbar Khoskenar to pay a fine of 300 million tomans for "destroying public property". They made it clear to his family that if this amount is not paid or else it will cost him dearly. And they announced to him to provide this amount from Makki Mosque in Zahedan.
