Iran’s supreme court overturned the death sentence for Kurdish political prisoner Shaker Behrouz last week and once again referred the case to the Islamic Revolution Court in Oroumiyeh for reinvestigation (as per Kaveh Unity source). Kurdish political prisoner convicted of murdering an IRGC officer. Despite 12 witnesses testifying Shaker was at a different location at the time of the murder, he was sentenced to death! Reportedly, he was transferred from Urmia Central prison to an unknown place on November 24th. Be his voice before the IR executes him.‬ Update: on December 26: According to HARANA, the Supreme Court overturned the death sentence and referred the case to another branch for re-investigation.
