Prison guards paraded through the streets with Mehdi and other inmates to spread terror. The regime has sentenced him to death and his execution is imminent. Arrested in conneciton with allegations of causing death of a Basiji member in Ekbatan, Tehran. Authorities took a group of prisoners to Ekbatan to spread fear in the neighborhood, filming for TV reports and making forced confessions for their sham courts.
